An NT-IT research and educational center has been founded to form the world-strongest interdisciplinary center of excellence (COE) in the fields of electrical communication and electronic engineering. In this program, the education of PhD students is placed importance as well as researches and a QI school has been established. The 21st Century COE Program was successfully completed last March. The Global COE Program has been approved as its succeeding program and started in July, 2007. We are now recruiting postdoctoral researchers.
