Information for Authors

This conference will include oral and poster sessions. RA students and GCOE fellows are invited to submit papers in oral sessions; and Laboratories joining the COE program are invited to submit posters in poster sessions, according to the following guidelines. Only electronic submissions will be accepted via this Web.

Submissions

  • ALL submissions must be made on-line via this Web.

  • Paper Submissions initially require the following information:
    • Title
    • Author List: authors' names & affiliation(s)
    • Abstract: about 100 words
    • Keywords: up to 5 keywords. Keywords may be selected from the IEEE keyword list.

    • Title
    • Author List: authors' names & affiliation(s)
  • If you are submitting both a paper and a poster, you need to create two different web accounts (User names & Passwords): one for the paper submission and the other for the poster submission.
  • If you need to edit any author information or resubmit your paper (or poster), it may be done up until the submission deadline. Please use the unique web accout created during initial submission, to edit or resubmit.

Paper Specifications

Your paper MUST comply with the following specifications:

  • Paper Length: Maximum 2 pages for students & 4 pages for invited speakers, including figures, tables & references
  • Paper Size: A4 (210mm × 297mm)
  • Paper Formatting: Single spaced, double column, 10pt font
  • Margins: 28mm on the top and bottom, 16mm on the left and right
  • Illustrations & Color: All halftone illustrations must be clear in black and white (Your paper will be printed in black and white).
  • File Format: PDF only
  • Fonts: Embed & Subset All Fonts in your PDF file. No Type 3 fonts allowed.
  • Do NOT put page numbers on your document.
  • Do NOT apply security settings to your PDF file.

Poster Specifications

Your poster MUST comply with the following specifications:

  • Poster Size: A1 (594mm × 841mm)
  • Number of Papers : Maximum 2 pages
  • Poster Formatting: Portrait (width < height)
  • Illustrations & Color: Use color for highlighting and to make your poster more attractive (The printed proceedings will retain the colors in your poster). Use pictures, diagrams, cartoons, figures, etc., rather than text wherever possible.
  • File Format: MS PowerPoint or PDF
  • File Size Limitation: 20MB
