The Student Organizing International Mini-Conference on Information Electronics Systems (SOIM) is planned and operated by Research Assistant (RA) students of Tohoku University Electro-Related Departments Global COE Program -Center of Education and Research for Information Electronics Systems (CERIES)-. SOIM-GCOE is a good opportunity for RA students to build up their ability of discussion, presentation, and technical writing for their future activities.

The 3rd SOIM-GCOE will be held at Sendai Excel Hotel Tokyu, Sendai, Japan from 19(TUE) to 20 (WED) October 2010. This conference includes oral and poster sessions. RA students and GCOE fellows (PhDs) presents their outcomes in the oral sessions; and Laboratories joining the COE program presents their research plans in the poster session. This conference also includes invited lectures given by leading experts in current topics. Besides the technical program, a banquet is planned.
