The 3rd International Symposium on Medical, Bio- and Nano-Electronics is a sequel to the 2nd International Symposium on Bio- and Nano-Electronics in Sendai in December 2006, which was successfully held with 15 oral presentations (including 5 invited lectures), 60 posters and 127 attendees.

 

This symposium is a part of "Education Program for Biomedical and Nano-Electronics, Tohoku University" financed by the Support Program for Improving Graduate School Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

 

purpose
This symposium intends to promote the exchange among researchers of medical, bio- and nano-electronics and to encourage young people to join these emerging research fields.

 

scope
The scope of the symposium covers, but is not limited to

Nano Bioelectronics, Nano Biophysics, Biomagnetics, Bioinformatics, Biosensors, Medical Electronics, Nano Electronics and related areas.
