From Sendai Airport

  • Take the Sendai Airport Access Line to Sendai Station. This will take about 20 minutes. Sendai Station is the hub station which is very large.
  • Take the Sendai Subway Tozai Line to Aobayama Station. This will take about 10 minutes.
  • From Aobayama Station, it will take about 10 minutes on foot to the laboratory.

From Tokyo Station

  • Take Tohoku Shinkansen, known also as bullet trains, to Sendai. This will take about 1 hour and a half. Make sure that you are headed to Sendai (there are some Shinkansen lines).
  • Take the Sendai Subway Tozai Line to Aobayama Station. This will take about 10 minutes.
  • From Aobayama Station, it will take about 5 minutes on foot to the laboratory.

Building

The laboratory is located on the third floor of the building D10 in the Aobayama East Campus, Tohoku University. See the map below:
